Bring Your Youth Group Out for a Ride with Trips For Kids®! This is what it's all about — the ride. TFK Marin takes at-risk and under-served kids on scenic day-long mountain biking adventures in gorgeous Marin County where they learn bike skills, self-confidence, and environmental awareness. Most of all, TFK rides provide an unstructured opportunity for youth to have fun! Safety is of utmost importance to us. In addition to being expert mountain bikers, all our ride leaders are trained in CPR and first-aid. To further ensure safety, we also require that the youth we work with know how to ride a bike and how to use hand brakes. Because of the sizes of bikes in our fleet, the participants must be 4’6” or taller. Going for a ride is easy. Just bring the riders and lunch, and we'll provide the rest: bikes, ride leaders, helmets, gloves, and water bottles. We take trips every day, year-round. The cost of a ride is $25 for a "Single Ride" for a minimum of four youth and a maximum of eight youth plus two of your staff and $50 for a "Double Ride" for a minimum of ten youth and a maximum of fourteen youth plus two to four of your staff. A refundable deposit is also required. To arrange a trip contact the Trips for Kids office at 415-458-2986 or volunteer@tripsforkids.org. We will schedule your ride activity and then send you a Ride Agreement Contract. We look forward to riding with you! |
Thank you for showing me how to face my fears and having fun at the same time. I really liked being outdoors with all you guys. – Tatiana (San Francisco) |
