Trips For Kids is opening its San Rafael warehouse to the cycling community. At the same time, we are offering 20-50% discounts on selected items at our Re-Cyclery Bike Thrift Shop in downtown San Rafael. Bike frames, forks, wheels, tires, helmets, bike racks, clothes, cycling shoes, and lots more will be on sale at bargain prices. Product donations from bicycle manufacturers and private donors have piled up and its time to make room for new shipments. The Trips For Kids Warehouse is located at 125 Larkspur St., Suite 119, San Rafael. The Re-Cyclery Bike Thrift Shop is at 610 Fourth Street in downtown San Rafael. Napa Valley Cycling Tour / October 16The Morgan Stanley/24 Hour Fitness/Specialized Cycling Team is holding their 4th annual Napa Valley Cycling Tour on Saturday, October 16. Tour of Marin / October 17The 2010 Tour of Marin is scheduled for Sunday, October 17. This is a half century ride with professional and master cyclists, and a share of the proceeds will benefit Trips For Kids! Following the ride participants are invited to a brunch at the school. The ride is limited to 200 participants, so be sure to sign up early. RideSFO BIKE Expo & Swap / November 20The 3rd annual San Francisco Bicycle Expo hosted by local company rideSFO features many vendors and highlight events. One of the main features is the massive swap where you can find hard to parts and frames and great deals. Trips For Kids will have a booth to sell our inventory and earn some much needed funds.
